You do realize by law (and insurance) if the car is currently tampered with or stolen your insurance is void (and you can be subject to fines as well for unsecured vehicle)

Its in a securely locked shed Tombie.There is no key with the vehicle so it wont get stolen.

Hi Andrew, and you do not need to touch the earth wire on the USI-160.

If you have the In-Cab Module switch set to SHEARED Mode ( switch set away from the LED ) the USI-160 will automatically TIME-OUT after 72 hours.

If you have the In-Cab Module switch set to IGNITION Mode ( switch set towards the LED ) it will Cut-Out when the battery voltage drops below 12.7v.
