    I've been thinking about it.

Would like to see one in the flesh though. I'm a bit worried that it might be too much black on the front end - and once done, would be difficult to undo. I've heard that you cannot buy the plastic bonnet protectors any more - dunno if this is true or not.
    Cheers .........

You could try using black plasti-dip, which will go on and form a rubber coating which although it sticks very well is very easy to peel off in big sheets when you want to do it. It is a matte finish, but mask off the top, and spray from the base (bonnet side) and it will end up as a gloss finish once you remove the masking tape.

    Thanks. Good idea.

Will have a look and see if anyone in Kalgoorlie sells plasti-dip.

I built a mount to lift my antenna up to improve reception and used the ARB mount on the wing for it.

You can still get them, I purchased a tinted one a few days ago.

Thanks for that. Where did you get it if you don't mind me asking.

Your Disco looks great. I love that colour, and yours is the first I've seen in that colour with the colour matched ARB bar on it.

Was the "LAND ROVER" lettering on the bonnet protector when you bought it, or have you added that yourself.
    Cheers .........

Thanks BMKal, I think it looks good too.

I purchased it from here... EuroActive.com - Buy Genuine BMW & Land Rover Parts and Accessories Online and the lettering is already on it.
Shipment cost via USPS EMS was $79.95 USD. Interestingly enough it was made here in Australia somewhere?
