The link doesn't seem to be working and I can't find anything for BFG KA2 on the web. Do you mean the new BFG KO2's?

As much as I hate to create a new thread on tyres this may prove useful to some who are looking at this new tyre.
BFG tell me that the sizes in the USA will be available in Australia over time and this link [ame]http://social.bfgoodrichtires.com/BFG_KO2_Sizing+Availability.pdf[/ame] takes you to the site that tells us the release dates and sizes in the US of A.
I have been committed to Bridgestone D697 as a newer compound and improved over the D694 but this offers more choice in size and load rating which could be useful
Will keep folk posted but it certainly looks like some of the November release sizes are on the water, says he hopefully

The 18s I see listed are 265-65-18 and 275-65-18
32 and 32.5" respective.. Load rating is nice at 123...
Personally - And this has evolved as more and more experience has been gained.. I tend to prefer Japanese tyre compounds as they are less prone to chipping and tearing than traditional USA formulation.
Will be interesting to see how these go.
I will have to wait until Tempe Tyres grey import them.
BUT then USA built anything will now be uncompetitive with Chinese, Korean, and Japanese, so we will all have Kumhos, or Roadstones.
A $250 tyre at 110 USD to AUD1 will be circa $325 at 78cents.

Advice is they are not bringing in the 265/60/18 which is disappointing and nothing in 19" so hopes may be dashed.
We have tested the USA made Silent Armours which proved to be very good all rounders and significantly better than the Asian produced version so there is a matter of balance in tyre manufacturer. It was evident with D693 which were made in Thailand as well as Australia and Japan and the Australian made ones were always better for durability and performance. So I am always hesitant to single out a manufacturing location with tyres particularly.
Looks like D694 may still be the way we go

The BFG aus facebook site seems to be a good place to get info.
There have been a few questions about which new sizes will be available and ETA.
Mainly from the toyonissan brigade.
Mine are very badly chipped and need replacing but the KO2 will not be available until the end of the year in the size i need.
Chatted to the BFGoodrich rep at their stand at the Brisbane 4x4 show today. 265/65R18 KO2 will be available in June in Australia.
BFG Australia website is now also showing sizes for the KO2 with expected arrival dates.
So at 265/65R18 with a diameter of 801mm, being an increase in diameter of approx. 5.3% from the 763mm OEM diameter.
Would you expect these to rub on inner guards or any other places?
Cheers, Mungus.

Yes, the body seam in the front of the rear wheel arch.
It's behind the plastic liner.

Not as bad as 275/65 R18's at 815mm diameter but that size will rub on full compression.
You can get by without trimming / bending the seam but it will eventually cut through the plastic inner liner.
Watch on full left lock that the tyre clears the wiring loom on the P/S chassis rail. This can be moved up higher out of the road as you don't want this loom damaged.
