I had an ECB bullbar fitted to my 2015 Disco 4 two weeks ago by East Coast Bullbars in Osborne Park WA. I was advised it was their first Disco 4 fit and they encountered a small issue with the height/spacing of the headlight washers which they solved without too much drama - apparently the ECB folk in Melb forgot to mention that it was an issue and required special spacers. However, they did a great job - it looks great and the all the sensors work a treat. ECB were very professional and I would highly recommend them. Cheers Bryan

I went to the Epping store. Ask for david.
They did fit the bar it's on right now with a set of light force spots. They worked out how to fit the run a winch so will be going on next week. The run a seems too good a value proposition to me. Ol rated it as we'll. $699 for a 12000 rope winch. Just need to get them to rotate the winch and use an offset hawse. Bull bar looks great colour coded. Happy for you to come check It out if u like. I'm in Northcote.

OK "subtle" message duly received. My post was focussed on the availability of the bar in WA, as there are a number of pics of the bar on a Disco on the ECB web site. However, I have now attached two for reference. As an aside, my first quote from another retailer was around $3300, and the quote I went with from ECB in Osborne Park was some $600 cheaper. I should also mention that although they had to do some additional work (ref headlight washers), they stuck to the original quote. Cheers Bryan

    Hi Scott

The vehicle came new with 19" rims but because of the limited range of 19" tyres that are available (that suit my activities), I changed them to the 20" rims the folk at Landrover had available in their range. In the Discovery glossy booklet they are called 20 inch Five Split-spoke 'Style 511' .... Cheers Bryan

Here is a photo of the owner of OL own Discovery.
So there shouldn't be a problem getting one from OL

Did get the colour matched bar and snorkel though. Hopefully in a week or so it will all be sorted....

Did they paint the snorkel !!! I thought polyethylene doesn't accept paint??

I am thinking of a bar and snorkel ... but on a white Sept/oct 2014 D4, I think black looks poor in the city. Outback it looks great though ...

Dropped in to OL Darwin yesterday and whilst they are getting back to me with exact availability of the new bar for the MY14, they mentioned it should be sometime in August.

Question; Does anyone know of a Powder coat colour that matches closely the Nara Bronze or is painting the only option and if so what would be the tougher (read hardness) paint to apply?
    Cheers, Mungus.

You should be able to find a colour that's pretty close with powdercoating. See this chart from a bike repairer who does a lot of powdercoating [ame]http://gripsport.com.au/images/uploads/files/Interpon_Color_Chart.pdf[/ame]

Paint goes over the powder coat. Resulting in multiple layers of protection.

ARB paint in 2 pack.. Not sure if OL..

And powder coating would look odd as it won't match enough.
