I am about 95% sure that the hose that fits on the lug in front of the oil filter housing is a fuel hose. I know when you do the oil filter it gets in the way and would very easily be damaged.
That could be a place to start.

 Fuel leaks/dampness on top of TDV6
		Have noticed what appears to be fuel oil gathering around injector area on each bank, collecting in any hollow in casting about the top of heads near injectors. It appears to be coming from higher up on motor from under plastic covers above injector area.
Had given engine a wash after seeing dampness down sides of motor, but after thorough de-grease and engine wash down, have found fuel again gathering after a 100k run.
I think there is a fuel warming system that uses engine coolant to warm the fuel near top of motor, that might be implicated, but had that replaced 100k ago.
So, any ideas where my fuel might be coming from?
My nearest reputable repairer is 1650k's away, so much for an Easter break.

Looking at the fuel system diagram, could be a number of things.
Can you get someone to hold the throttle down with the engine running whilst you see if you can pin point the leak. Could be an injector or a line.
Is it on both sides of the engine or just 1 ? The High pressure fuel pump is there at the back of the engine and I have read of the pump spewing fuel out onto the exhaust system and the car catching fire, so it could be the start of something at that end.
Take as much of the covers etc off , give it a good clean , get someone to jump in and start it and see if you can see it with a torch.

My thought was the bleed valve for the fuel system, looks like a tyre valve and is near the oil filter under the engine cover.

Be very careful looking for leaks around common rail systems. Pressures in the Hp side of the system can cause a stream of fuel so fine you won't see with your eyes but can pierce through skin causing very serious injuries. Sometimes using a sheet of paper and wave it around the pipe or area you think is leaking and the fuel will spray onto the paper revealing the leak. Your keeping your body out of the energy stream and out of the line of fire. Search hydraulic injection on google.

						SupporterDrove the 1600k's to service centre and they diagnosed leaking "O" rings at bottom of injectors and a loose washer where rail connects to injector.
HOWEVER, LR Australia evidently do not stock/import the "O" rings which are micro, being about 5mm across with very small hole.
No other replacement aftermarket option available. Bosch special.
LR dealers only sell them as part of the injector, ditto for the hard metal washer on top between injector and rail pipe.
Magic people at Jordan Rovertech (WA) used their contacts to source genuine "O" rings in LR bags with LR part numbers from QLD, where somebody happened to have some.
Seems the "O" rings are available in other countries as spares, but not in Australia.
Dealers looking for the bigger injection dollar perhaps??
The metal washers are not known to be available, and service guys advise that if they start to leak it usually requires as new injector just to get the washer.
Mine tightened up nil leaks, all good.
