    BF Goodrich KO2 LT265/60R18

Tire rack are now showing a lot more tyre sizes for the new BF Goodrich KO2 including LT265/60R18 which is a preferred size for the D3/D4.

    http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....rain+T%2FA+KO2

This seems to confirm earlier reports that the KO2 would be available in up to 80 different sizes by the end of the year.

The larger LT265/65R18 will be launched in Australia in June for those willing to go to an oversized tyre.

Would be a good tyre for the D3/D4/RRS..

May ride a little firmer, easy to live with...

When I spoke to BFG in February the 60 profile was not on the import list and their website indicates no delivery this year either so I would suggest caution on that size. Seems they will be chasing the ute market where 18" "plus one" conversions are going off according to my tyre fitter. He does around 10 per week on Ford utes. So there may be little interest in the smaller profile unless a clear demand can be evidenced.

Still looking at going to the 697 with our GOE rims when the arrive

    Maybe we should petition....

There should be decent enough demand however, discoverys, older L322, some pajeros and maybe some prados would be able to run that size tyre. I'm sure there's more but that's off the top of my head

Goodyear Duratrac too. That'd be a great offroading/touring tyre for it.

Those Duratracs are only LI 110 so really no good for D3/D4 owners.

And hopefully with the chipping issue sorted

I have an email from tire rack,245/70/17 will be available last quarter this year( it listed on the tire rack site)

Also have email from BFG aus, saying this size will not be available this year but they will mimic sales as they are released from the manufacturer overseas.

    So two different replies.

So looks like i will have to wait and see,and hope my shot tyres last the distance,or i will have to go to plan B

The list on the tire rack site is just that, most of the sizes are not yet available.

I'll be in it, I need to replace tyres and was hoping these would be available before I needed to and have been holding off. My D3 is no longer my daily drive so I can probably wait a bit but not too much longer.

If we can get a list of cars that might take this size we could start a change.org petition to give to the company.

    Sign the petition

Here I have done it, I think, I haven't done one of these before.

I think if you go to this link you should be able to sign

    https://www.change.org/p/bf-goodrich-australia-bring-the-bf-goodrich-ko2-lt265-60r18-tyre-to-australia'recruiter=278824746&utm_source=share_pet ition&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=share_twitte r_responsive via @ChangeAUS

Now what other cars take this size and we can go to their forums and promote.

Not true - the minimum legal load rating is for D3/D4 is 109. Take a look at the tyre placard.
