    AnD3rew,

I've also signed up to this as I welcome choice of tyres for my GOE 18s when I get them. Up until now I was planning on just fitting the LT D697 265/60/R18 that I had on my previous D4. The D697s were good, wore really well, terrific in most conditions but they couldn't hack it in mud when they just became 'slicks'. As I'm Victorian based, trips up to the local hills inevitably means encountering clay goo... Are these other A/T tyre choices any better? I presume you are sponsoring this effort because they are? Comments and experiences welcome, particularly likely kms per set, price, etc. Many thanx.

I don't have experience of the D697s, they seem to be well regarded here, but two reasons for this petition, firstly the reviews of these Tyres for elsewhere seem to be very good and I like the reputation of BFG and the tread pattern looks good. And most importantly it would be good to have more than 1 LT choice in this size in Australia.

All BFG ATs I've used clog just as quick as the others.. This new unit is a very similar tread so doubt it will be much better..

Have a look at Achilles muddies for your purpose.

    Interesting.

BFG Aus reply to my email 21/4/15,the size 265/60/18 in AT KO2 will not be available until 2016,and this size may not be imported at all.

    Hope things have changed.

They were also very vague as to when the size 245/70/17 AT KO2 will be available here. They said sales here will mimic release times in the US,plus shipping times. This size may be available possibly very late 2015.

I have emailed BFG Australia pointing them to the petition and pointing out that this is just Land Rover owners and just from this forum.

Will let you know what they say.

This BFG brochure has the launch date of the LT265/60R18 as October 2015, which is fairly close to RobA's info. This would be the USA launch though, so maybe a few months after for Australia as with the LT265/65R18 which is listed as available in June on the Australian BFG website.

51 people have signed up to this, not a lot considering how many D4 owners on this forum, pretty sad guys, so I have made it a sticky to maybe help people see it, hoping that's why we haven't had many sign up.
