Hi guys I have just purchased a 2010 TDV6 SE with 85,000 on the clock, suburban taxi and not a scratch under it, never used off road. Anyway I am wanting to get the transmission serviced and a steel sump fitted. So the questions I have are where to purchase the replacement sump and what else I may need? Also this one is a harder question to answer does anyone know of anywhere in the north of Tasmania to have the conversion done. I have read nearly every thread in the search section to try and get my head around this issue, but I can not see anything useful to my location. Its currently Friday arvo so no one is open to make calls. I have found and eBay link but not sure if it is the one I'm meant to be looking at.
Genuine ZF6HP26 Automatic 6 Speed Transmission Steel Sump Conversion Service PAK | eBay
It says you will need a gasket and filter every change. Plus I think I have a ZF6HP28. I'm so confused, geez it took me some time to find out I have an electronic dipstick to check the oil. Plus I need to find somewhere to service it as it is due.
Thanks
Only one place in Tas to take it - Justin Cooper in Hobart.
Sure its a drive but it will be done properly.
