    Lower control Arms

Just started to get a little clunky at the front end and my local LR dealer has told me it's time to do the lower control arms, ball joints and steering rack ends. Bummer

Anyway I've seen some Bearmach lower control arms I can grab for $468 delivered with all the bushes and bolts. Seems pretty decent and I'll save on labor.

Question Bearmach vs Genuine. I've heard some are actually the same parts but does anyone really know? Just a little worried about aftermarket stuff.

And I've noticed polyurethane bushes for sale for the upper arms. Anyone have any experience with these? Is polyurethane ok for the uppers? I've been told I probably won't have to do the uppers but I figure it may be wise when it's being worked on anyway

Any advice would be awesome guys. The Disco is a little more confusing than my Defender

I've had good results with Bearmach parts,I found by locking the suspension on my L322 in standard height and manually changing to access while still moving,eg,select it when I was driving into a park spot for instance helped to save the bushes. Pat

Cool good to know about Bearmach!

Any idea about the polyurethane in the upper arms?

So PAT303 Lower your ride height while moving is better? Or are you saying don't lower the height while moving so much?

    Hi RoboDouche,
Try TRS in Adelaide, I recently got a set of lower control arms, genuine LR and they were close to the price you mention delivered to WA (I think). Might be worth a call.

I put Polybushes through one of my D3's I wouldn't do it again. Yes they last longer however the ride is definitely different, and not for the better I might add. Just an opinion.

Thanks Nomad9 I already ordered some Bearmach control arms I heard good things so I just got them.

I heard the poly bushers are super hard to fit to! I think I'll steer well clear

No difficulties fitting Super Pro bushes. You can also fit the RRS control arm which has a larger and greater range of articulation on the outer ball joint.
I bought mine from FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARMS & FIXINGS
