Probably a company car...
Took the D4 over to Narrogin tonite for the weekly shopping run seeing the Territory refused to start.Hasnt been used for a month, battery flat.
Was parking in Coles and a bloke watched me park, noticed the suspension lowering.
He came over for a chat, saying what a neat looking Discovery.Asked heaps about it,how it goes off-road etc, economy, power.Asked why it lowered, told him it does the opposite when off road.
He thanked me for the chat, then jumped into a fairly well set up 80 Series.I couldnt believe it,a tojo pilot with more than one eye

From the thread title .................. I thought that maybe Andrew had found himself an admirer.
Been wearing those leather pants again ???
The weather's cool enough for them.
And in Narrogin of all places ......................... I read somewhere that Narrogin is full of single mums on pensions living in government housing.
Cheers .........

Lots of replies in jest but the sight of Andrew loading groceries (probably a few bottles of Pimms) into a shiny new D4 at Coles in Narrogin is the same as seeing George Clooney placing a bouquets of flowers into a Bentley anywhere else.
In Narrogin matching coloured thongs has you classified as a bit of a dandy.

SubscriberIve had possibly 1 or 2 people come up and chat about it but thats it very rarely and then you show someone the car and they just cant believe how nice they are and all the stuff they do, it blows them away and I'm thinking well what did you expect the car to be like ahaha!!
I cam out of the Dargo pub in my trip home from Lithgow last year..... to find a pair of legs sticking out form under mine...
Bloke who owned a D2 taking a closer look..
Nice fella once we got talking... glad he slid in under the drivers side.... I might have backed over him otherwise.
