Thread: Crickets In My D4

Hi All,


I was shown the photo of the offending part (and a diagram of the bits that are attached), which sits very close to the chassis making it quite a big job as LR had to dis-assemble a lot of bits to get there.


Notice the technical terms I'm using? That's 'cause I only got a brief look at the schematic .

All good now.


Funny thing was ....


When I got home after picking the car up, I wound down a window as I was reversing in my driveway .... and I heard the same noise, which peeved me off slightly. Then I turned off the engine ...... and the noise continued .....Bloody crickets!!!

We just got back from a few days caravanning to Mudjimba Beach.
Great that you got your D4 fixed.

PS if the noise continues just turn the radio on and crank up the volume

Been great weather for the beach ... hope you had a cracking time.


We're off to Moreton, Saturday week. Hopefully it stays like this.
