    Drivers window switch problem

    Hi all.

Its happened again... All the window switches on the drivers door work for manual and auto up/down apart from the drivers window.. it will auto down but not auto up....

The first time i noticed it, I had changed a setting in the ccf files using the IID tool.. The setting changed was nothing to do with the windows however and the problem seemed to fix itself after a couple of days.

Now i have changed a setting again in via the IID to allow for different tyre sizes and the auto up function has stopped working again on the drivers window only..

What am i missing here? have i changed something via the IID in the background, is the switch faulty and the rest is just coincidence, or is there some setting / combination of button presses that needs to be redone to get the window function back?

    Your thoughts...

It will require to be reset.
    Depending on what model year.......
Hold window switch all the way down & hold for 2 sec. release & re-hold for 2 sec
    Then
Hold window switch all the way up & hold for 2 sec. release & re-hold for 2 sec.
Newer vehicles just hold the window switch up for 2 sec, release then hold again for 2 sec. The travel is preset in the door module.
Every time you download a change to your CCF it will reset a few things.
Namely you clock, sometimes date & window driver auto function.

Not exactly sure of what else due to you using a IID tool.

    Cheers

    Thanks.. All good now...
Don't you just love these cars... there is always a trick or tip available for whatever your trying to achieve...
Turning on and off the main lights be pressing continuously
Turning off the seatbelt alarm by inserting and removing the buckle 7 times
Keeping the recycle air recycling by pressing and holding for 4 seconds
And now the auto window function...

    I love my Disco
