    I have narrowed it down to the 2nd row middle seat, somewhere in the seat base. It disappears if someone is sitting on it or the back is lowered. But I cannot find anything loose or out of place.

    I thought it was a loose 3rd row seat but have eliminated that by putting a little bit of rubber in the loose catch. Frustrating.

    Yes. The nut was coming undone and the rattle noise was the washer ringing away. I said it sounded like a washer, so i'm chuffed about that find.
