How much water?

Fresh water or Salt?....

....and how did it happen?

If you get enough water inside the vehicle that you can see it above the carpets then the water tends to run into the channels along the floor rails near the doors where the wiring runs. Pull the lower plastic panel off from the pillar between the front and rear doors and then lift and un clip the plastic liner that runs over the channel and clips down over the carpeting and sill.
If you have a wet and dry vacuum park the vehicle facing down hill and vacuum the water out as it runs forward in the channels. You will need to pull the carpet up and back from under the dash on each side as well, if it's not to bad then just put towels under the carpet and it will eventually suck up most of it.

I had this happen when the drains were blocked in the sunroof and it really poored down one night. Took me days to dry it out, what a pain.

If yours is salt water inside the cabin then I'd be calling the insurance company and not touching it.

Fresh water on modern electronic controlled vehicles is too,could be a higher depth.

We have had this, really early on with our D4, I got all the carpet up as high as I could, opened all the doors and put a small floor fan and left it on to dry the car out.

These thingys, I used two of them.

What? With rain-sensing wipers, they don't automatically wind up the windows when it's raining?
