The whole point of this post is you get a Tech Pack and the Black wheels for free. You still have to stump up for a $91700 for the SE or $102000 for the HSE, well that's what they cost in Townsville anyway. They are only getting white ones. I have been quoted over $90000 for a TDV6 with a lot of options I don't want. The only problem is these limited editions will not have the e-diff. As the dealer said to me, who wants a diff lock with 20" rims. I do. I intend to get GOE 18" as well when I get my D4.
Reality is that tyre businesses place a cost on the money to buy, the shipment to them costs, and also they cost the storage, and the handling ... if the wheels sit there, that costs heaps for them to hold them.Quote:

Have you found out the price on your Ferrari wheel by the way? The one with the dint in it?
Over $15k for one of those, before the Aussie dollar fell. So for just four wheels, that's over $60k.
I sort of had that problem too ... but IMO, with a demo, an extra $20K was a lot for a rear diff lock. End of the day the non-lock will get you as far as most other 4WDs in severe conditions. Heat on the rotors is the main negative issue with the non rear diff lock. A decent set of tyres is worth several diff locks IMO. Its frustrating that for $1,100 you can have a front air locker from ARB, but no rear one on D4s.Quote:
