Push that virtual button, and you will be taken to the three reversing options. The one with the trailer mode has a trailer icon on its box ... push that, and you'll be in trailer mode.

Another way to get to the reversing modes, is via the special options menu. First get to Home menu, which should be the left top button to the right of the Audio on off button (which is inside the temperature rotation rubber dial). To the left of the Nav button as your HSE comes with Nav. On the screen, there is an Extra features virtual button, push that, and you'll see the 4x4 icon screen, and the cameras virtual large "button". Push the cameras "button" and then it will take you to another options screen, on mine there is a camera graphic virtual button, and underneath a Settings button. Push the virtual "Settings" button, and you'll see the three options available for your reversing screen. Pick the one with the trailer for reverse approaching to a trailer!!
I have a November MY13 HSE too. Unfortunately, none of what you've described is available.

That's odd. My standard TDV6 MY14 has the three reversing modes described above and the camera activation too. And I only have the reversing camera.

Wonder if it was a change at MY14

    Cheers,

    Bummer Martin ...

    I checked here:
    http://australiancar.reviews/_pdfs/L...ons_201305.pdf

And that would be your year I think.

The feature is called Tow Hitch Assist. It requires a rear camera ... and I guess the software. It is mentioned as an option, even in the HSE for 2013.

But ring your service area and ask them how come its not working?

Do you get any guidelines when reversing? Before I bought my vehicle, I was looking at a standard 2012 HSE, and it had some reverse guidelines ...

There's reversing lines on our 2010 RRS, but they don't bend. Not much help frankly.
Now 2016 D4 HSE 'Leo' and Steve the Triumph Speed Twin
    Then 2010 D4 3.0 HSE 'James'
Then 2010 RRS TDV8 'Roger' w traxide DBS, UHF, Cooper Zeons, Superchips remap
    Then 2010 D4 TDV6 'Jumbo' w traxide DBS
    First love 2002 D2 TD5 'Disco Stu'

Yes, I had vague memories of it being part of the tow assist package option. Just have to slum it I suppose. Not a problem for the number of times I tow something - so far zero times since Nov '13.

    Thanks,

Reading the spec sheet link, you had to option the "vision assist" package to get the "tow assist".

Saying all that I can nail the hitch most times using the standard reverse camera, now that I can jump out and lower or raise the remotely with the key when I put the pin in the Treg Hitch, it's all pretty good!

PS - I do have the yellow lines, but they don't do anything.
