Did you give him a drive of yours on the Cape trip Scott?
Yesterday my Dad put a deposit on a brand new D4 for a December delivery.
He has been procrastinating for about 2 years regarding replacement of the 100 series LC .... "should I just keep it going / should I step up, should I get a 200 series", etc etc.
He's had the LC for 10 years I think. So he's very used to it and somewhat worried about new technology.
I think the Cape trip earlier this year helped tip him over the line, getting bounced and battered in his old, slow and dusty truck, compared to my far more enjoyable experience.
Anyway, there'll probably be a newbie lurking around here soon. I wonder if anyone has a spare Mitch Hitch they need to offload..... must get on to Tim .... and Graeme ....
Cheers,
Scott

I did Sean but only a little bit and not on the main corrugations. I think the D4 deposit would have been directly after the trip if he'd driven mine on the corros.
We would try to communicate with them on UHF during corrugated sections and often they didn't even hear us due to noise & vibration levels.
Anyway, he's hardly test driven at all, thinking that comfort = sheepskin. I think he's in for a major positive surprise when he starts doing some proper k's.

The last time I was at MR in Redcliffe they had a second hand Mitch Hitch for sale. It was a couple of months ago and I didn't ask the price, but worth a call.
For D3 - fits doesn't it...?
