    Removing rear interior trim

Does anyone have any hints on removing the rear side interior plastic trim, including the cubby boxes?

There looks to be a fair bit of unutilised space behind this and am looking for places to mount arb compressor and a few other bits and pieces.
(I have triple battery traxide kit so engine bay is out as far as compressor install goes.)
    Thanks

If I remember correctly you start by removing the tie downs and the cover plate for the seat folding mechanism. Then it is just clips. The side panel includes the bit of carpeted floor panel up to the seats, from memory. I haven't done it for a few years. Someone else may be more helpful but this might give you a start.

    Thanks for that.
Interesting it mentions to discard the bolt from the safety belt anchor. Wonder how much it is going to cost me every time i want to remove this panel? Are they special bolts used?

What I said was what you do to remove the floor panel to get at the third row seat fixings. Sorry, the old brain is not as good as it once was!

    Tail Gate Cable Wind Mechanism

    First Post
    Hi Peoples,

So firstly - no need to remove seat belt retaining bolt.
Secondly will this get me access to the Tail Gate Cable winding mechanism. There appears to be an issue with mine retracting properly.
This would also allow to check the cable to the rear power point.

    Cheers
