						SubscriberHi Guys,
After adding a heap of accessories to the D3, early on I decided to put switching in the front.. but didn't want to put switches everywhere and anywhere they fit in the plastics so I decided to make my own switch plate that fits into the centre dash where the two 12v accessories and little stowage tray - so here is the effort i went to to make it work and I'm very pleased with the result (especially after the misus says it looks like it was always supposed to be there!)
I'm happy to share my design for Aulro members if anyone wants to go through the same effort which wasn't that bad after I worked out the plastic cutouts.
I post some pics of the construction etc over the next day or so.. Now all I have to do is wire the switches up I have already done the relays and other connections so this should be really easy.
The switches are off the shelf Narva available basically everywhere.

SubscriberThis is the first one (I did two designs) the second one I used in the end. I have used the Narva switch surrounds 9 Parts - 2 end pieces and 7 middle pieces.

SubscriberThe only "modification" to the car. I cut 4-6mm off the top of the rubber insert which to be honest it would have went in with a bit of pushing but I wanted to be able to remove the rubber insert once done for cleaning etc. you can't see the top of the rubber once inserted so I wasn't that ultra careful cutting it.
