thanks for that. Have take it backto the inner city indie LR mechanics and hopefully they will fix it properly this time.

I would expect the thing to be pulled apart, repairs made and wheel alignement done once, not 3 times as they have overlooked something.

If it is just the sway bar bush then happy days should be easy and cheap.

Anyway will see what they come back with. I'm away on a work trip for 2 days so they can have it till Friday arvo to sort out once and for all.

    Will keep you posted.

Little update on the Nexan RU5 I had fitted. They are exremely quiet, handling is very good, maybe not quite as good as the Pirellis I had but at about half the price I can live with that. From what I have read the Nexans last a hell of a lot longer too.

Have not had them in wet weather yet so that will be a good test to see how they like a Brisbane thunderstorm and toerrential downpour.

    Time will tell.
    cheers

got the D3 back, appears the wheel aligner stripped the locking knobs out of the eccentric washer on control arm bolts when they did the wheel alignment.

Seems ok now though get an occasional clunk up front somewhere. Very intermittment so will monitor it and see how it goes.

Quite impressed with the Nexan RU5 N'fera tyre so far. Very quiet, handle about 90 - 95% as good as Pilrellis for half the price. Will see how they wear.

    cheers
