Reminds me - one of my reversing lights is pulsing / flashing. Good thing I got Jaycar to get three of them in for me.
    Cheers .........

Here's a quick pic of the parts I've got heading to Babs...

This does everything from the front doors to the tail - excluding the rear fog lights.

Tombie, couple of questions if I may .....

The ones right in the middle of photo with what looks like cooling fins, what's the details on those ones and where do you put them?

The larger ones at bottom of photo, are they the P21Ws for reverse lights? If so what is the lumens? Looks like they may be better than the ones I got from Jaycar.

    Cheers,
    Scott

They're a simple unit for the bottom of the doors... I put an 9x5630 in and they're overwhelming for a puddle light these are 6x5050 and look just right (especially in a camp site)

The P21W are a very nice Reverse LED.
    A noticeable improvement.

I have an even higher output version but haven't tested long enough to be confident in it yet..

The best upgrade is the 5630 bulbs in the packet above the finned ones.
Turns the interior into daylight in the front/mid areas..

I've actually got a higher output P21W on the way too.
The Jaycar ones are good but I'm hoping these ones will be excellent.

    Totally agree regarding 5630.
Gives excellent light in the middle one and lower output red beside them.

Well I received my "NEW" LED lights yesterday - thanks again Tombie - and installed them all last night. There were certainly some improvements over what I previously had in there.

The two main overhead interior lights are definitely brighter than the previous version, as is the "cargo" light above the tailgate.

LED side indicator / repeater lights in the doors look better - you almost can't see the orange light through the lens when it is not working - and the "glow" at night is certainly something different.

I now have LED lights in the footwells - never had this before. I also tried (unsuccessfully so far) to install a LED light in the glovebox. Whoever designed this light fitting was called a few unrepeatable names last night.

Jury is out on whether the reversing lights are any brighter (I had the same Jaycar ones that Scott has described). These new ones have one more LED in the end (behind the lens) than the Jaycar units, but less LED's around the "barrel" of the light. I went for a drive to get dinner last night, but really couldn't pick whether there had actually been an improvement in the reversing lights.

But most importantly - both front door "puddle" lights now shine the Land Rover logo very clearly onto the ground when you open the doors - clearly the single largest upgrade made to the vehicle in a long time. SWMBO was very impressed with hers (especially as I had previously told her that I was getting a light which projected a witch riding her broomstick for her side of the car).

    Cheers .........

In that case, when mine arrive I'll fit one side initially and see if I can do a side-by-side comparison.
What I have coming is not the same as your new one. Looks similar but uses Cree units I think.

Lol, actually my wife is quite keen on the Discovery outline version that Tombie has.

I was thinking of pulling one side out and re-fitting the other style this morning .................. but thinking about it is probably as far as I will get.

What is in there now is working and I'm happy with it, and I'm a great believer in the old saying about when something aint broke.
    Cheers .........

I may have some even more enlightened LEDs for reverse lights. I'm going to fit them tomorrow. Internal LED upgrade
