Fitting winch to OL Bull Bar D4 2014

    Hi All,
I have just bought a RUNVA 11,000LB winch to fit to my 2014 D4, it is to be fitted to an Opposite Lock Bull Bar, whats involved in fitting the winch? I fitted the Bar myself without any problem, any hints would be greatly appreciated.

Get hold of Drivesafe/Traxide Tronics,Tim on here.He does all the dual battery systems so should be able to sort your electrical side out.
Im interested in the fit up,so please post as you go.I have an OL winch bar and on Toombies advice will also be getting a Runva at some stage.
How much did the Runva cost????

Is it the 11XP, or the 11XP Premium? Red rope of grey/silver? a mate of mine fitted an 11XP on my recommendation, but we had difficulty getting access to the clutch lever because of the bar. Ended up having to get the clutch lever changed to actuate it with a spanner.

By the look of it the 11XP Premium has a different clutch and gearbox arrangement, and should locate the clutch lever further toward the edge of the winch, hopefully clearing the bar better...

Can you adjust the position of the gearbox on the motor to achieve this??? ie split the 2,turn a bolt hole position and replace the bolts.

Not on the 11XP. There is a boss in the way on the gearbox that stops it being rotated into the right position. The 11XP Premium LOOKS like it'll go ok, will find out soon as another mate is going to fit one to an OL bar on his 2013 model.

Bump, did the new one fit? I'll need to order one ASAP as my ARB bar gets fitted 3 weeks from today.

Assuming the ARB and OL bars are quite similar??

The new Premium one seems to be the only one with the IP67 rating so thinking it's worth the extra 250 bucks. Also comes with about $200 worth of extra goodies.

    Cheers

I think that may be the plan, with the winch being the storage solution for the rope, or, if the dog just lays down and becomes a winch anchor.
