We think we got a good deal, as LR is currently having an end of financial year special with free on-roads and they seem to be keen to clear out the D4 before the D5 arrives next year. We just have to wait a couple of weeks until it arrives via ship - it's an April 2016 build. Let me know if you'd like more details on the deal.
    Hi Brendan,

I'd be interested to know what your deal was as I've just bought a tdv6 MY16.5 graphite - pick up on Friday all things going well!

It's a TDV6 SE for $76,800 drive away. The extras we got are:

    Technology pack
    Leather seats
    7 seats
    Meridian sound system
    Bi-xenon headlamps
    Darkest legal tint
    Rear loadspace mat
    Rubber mats
    Tow bar
    Black & white slimline plates

How does that compare? We're not really experienced at buying cars, so it's possible we could have pushed for a better deal.

That's a great deal I reckon! Mine is specced exactly the same excluding the slim plates which are always extra in WA. Not sure what the premium over standard a graphite tdv6 is but I paid $79k flat which I'm happy with! The major difference other than graphite coloured grille, vents and wheels is that power fold mirrors are standard on the graphite.

Thanks Brendan, I got quoted $82k for an almost identically specced vehicle sans slim plates and the boot mat although that would include 3 years servicing under our corporate plan. Time to keep browsing I think!

It looks like the TDV6 Graphite is around $1,200 more than the standard TDV6 here in Victoria according to the pricing calculator on the land rover website.

I forgot to mention that I had the corporate programme thrown in as well - 3 years fee servicing and roadside assist and a day at the land rover experience centre here in Melbourne.

I'm pretty stoked! Can't wait to get the disco in a few weeks!

Only 2 more sleeps for me! Yeah I have the roadside assist and Land Rover experience too, although I'm pretty sure they're standard. The corporate servicing isn't as far as I'm aware - that's a failure in my negotiation skills! Didn't even think of that. Very happy nonetheless!

Anyone know where/who runs the experience days in WA?
