I don't think they chopped anything, all they had to do was drill those holes.

They deburred (spelling?) them and painted them.

Seems all good, I'm picking it up within the hour, I'll get some more pics up.

Marcus,as far as I know no cutting or drilling required for the OEM.

A question for GOE wheel owners.Since fitting your wheels does your air filter get significantly more dust in it??? Worth checking.

Since fitting my GOE wheels I notice that the side panels and rear door get much more brake dust, road spray etc down them. When you look at the rims after driving on dusty roads you can see how they had drawn dust thru them. This pic also shows them in action "pumping sand",I think they doo the same with dust/spray.

Just wondering if anybody has noticed the dust/spray/brake dust etc.

I wouldn't have thought they'd do any cutting either with the OEM.
As far as the wheels go, I don't know yet, mine wont get here until after I've got my other goodies done. A little bit disappointed as far as that goes, I would have preferred to see black wheels without the bar work etc, rather than the silver wheels with all the bar work,,, but alas, only like that for maybe two weeks or so.
Just hoping I don't need the AT's for Gordons course in two weeks. Can't wait for this

A couple of holes. Nothing more sinister.

I believe one of the LR Indies in Melbourne does a sealing kit for the factory RAI as well - making it into a snorkel.

I thought about that Mike, but I'm not sure I'd be too worried about going that deep.
If it should happen, I'd be getting mighty worried about other electrics through the car. No doubt, depending, I'd put up a water blanket to try and keep some of the water out of the engine bay electrics. If I thought it was going to be that deep, I think the RAI pipes would handle what ever got there, probably better than the electrics (??).

If I'm really not too sure at all,,, there's always the "chicken track", or turn back,, I'm just not that proud to say "no" over drowning our car.
No doubt I'll learn a little more, (well, a lot more I hope) next weekend with Gordon.
