    Rear Door Speaker Grill

    I have a damaged rear door 6 inch speaker grill.
    Cant get a response from local dealer parts ATM on price and availability?.
    I enquired a while back and at that time the parts bloke reckoned you have to get the whole door card.
    could this be true or is this the sustainability that land rover advertises (sustainability for their parts department.)

    Sadly, based on my quick look at the parts catalogue, this appears true.

    Keep an eye on eBay for a replacement.

    I needed exactly the same part and managed to find one on uk eBay for around $50. I had to break the broken grill of the door card - the grill has some plastic retaining clips that can be undone to get it off the card.

    Harmon Kardon don't make the door card - Its a separate item -


    In this day and age of throwaway everything -no wonder the planet suffers.


    Land rover should be aware that its not always about the money - its every now and then about unnecessary landfill. Not to mention the carbon offset in manufacture.


    A similar situation is being told by the Land Rover service Blokes that I have to get a new engine because the rocker cover is leaking.


    Its BS really
