Early Christmas present - e diff

    Hi
Under the car today to drop the diff/transfer case and transmission oils in prep for our trip to uluru and low and behold get to the rear diff and looking for the plugs and what do I have...

This is a base model D4 TDV6 that I picked up last year after the demise of my D3. It was an ex lease (mum's taxi ) and there was no indication in the ad that it had the E diff!

Screen in the car for the radio is very basic to the point that I had the hema7 mounted in front of it so other then inspection of the diff is there any other indication that you have one fitted?

    Regards
    Bob

Cant see the pick of whatever it is you've put up, it comes up as an entry page to drop box, needing a password.

On the dash screen, you should be able to pull up a pick of the diffs, which should then indicate what exactly you have.
Short of someone coming and telling you precisely here, which hopefully they'll do, go to a dealer, they'll point you in the right direction.

Bob, if you want to PM me your VIN number, I can have a look at your "as built" and tell you for sure.

Land Rover definitely say that when it left Solihull, it had an e-diff under it's bum.

On our cars that have the tiny monochrome screen with out touchscreen, we have 2 (easy?) ways of finding out if you have an e-diff - run the VIN through Topix or have a look underneath...

You can also take it for an "interesting off road adventure" and watch the orange light on dash light up when it engages!
