Not garaged, just under a car port. Salt spray is not a concern in Port Melbourne, we only have tiny waves in the bay.
If you are near the sea, you have salt spray. It's a term but it really means salt infused air blown in the wind.
Any aircraft operator within a short distance of the sea will do desalination servicings on their aircraft. Their planes don't ever get hit by actual spray. The salt is just everywhere. I guess the range of that effect is related to the strength of the winds.

This has actually been on my mind. I checked my bolts about a month ago and noticed a couple have gone opaque and look like the start of corrosion is setting in.
Time for some new M6's by the looks, any opinions on galvanized vs. stainless for this job?
