Depending on your tyres and the conditions, deflat to say 20 psi.

Sand mode if it's soft. Turn off DSC. Every time you start the car or change the TR mode, TURN OFF DSC!

Other than that, go nuts.................and take some pics.

17psi - sand mode - low range of it's really thick - it loves between 2-3000rpm - turn dsc off last . And yes check dsc is off every time you start or change tr modes.

DSC off
Low Range unless it's solid (otherwise your DSC will cut in at WOT)

And make sure you are at off road height,it will not work over 50k's/hr,and if you are going slower will drop down once you reach 50km/hr to normal height.Under 50km/hr it will work fine.Bongs and dash readout will let you know what it is doing.

If you don't go to off road height you may end up with a vehicle sitting on its belly

take a long handled shovel,it may be handy

As said,remember DSC off,each time you start the vehicle as it resets itself back on.

Tyre pressures down,sand mode,momentum is your friend in the soft stuff.

Bring a long handle shovel...... A must have for any venture on the sand. At least you can dig yourself out if you manage to bury the car down to its belly. It happened to me a couple of times on my first outing on the sand at Stockton while I was trying to learn the ropes

Perhaps take along a pair of "MAXTRAX" or similar, should you get bogged they might prove useful.

If you re unsure of what you or the vehicle may be doing, I suggest that you invest a little bit of money and save yourself the potential for spending a lot of money if something goes wrong and sign up for a Sand Driving Course, preferably with someone who has experience with your Land Rover product.
