Terry, I believe all newer models have the carbon one as standard.
My research indicated the carbon version was part# JKR500020 (and ordinary #JKR500010)
JKR500020 supercedes to LR023977, which is the standard part# now I believe.
Cheers,
Scott

I'm not sure about the carbon poly filter but it happened again today. Lane Cove Tunnel was down to 40klm/ph so there I was plotting along and I started smelling strong exhaust fumes, I look down again and check the recirculate button and its Blooming off. :(

At least when you sneak one out and is noticed on the passenger side, you can blame it on the roadkill just passed:wasntme::angel:
Another gripe I have with my new D4 is the space between the side firewall and the brake :(
If I have my steel caps on I hit the brake as I accelerate, there is not enough space there unless your wearing grandpa slippers.

But I love the power and just returned 9.1L per/100klm on a drive up to Brissy today. :D
CON = Cruise Control. This cruise is crap, it jumps up 20klm above set speed on a slight decline. Every vehicle I have ever owned has held set speed within 7klm on declines and anything too steep just brakes away.
The D4 won't hold at all. I have come to the conclusion Discovery 4 Cruise is Poo.
Can this be altered at all with the IIDTOOL ❓

Just paddle down a few gears on overrun.
