That's definitely the case for D3s using the Nanocom, including re-writing the original software afterwards.

I can't disagree with the observations of those before me but my MY16 D4 has the nav on move function disabled in the CCF but I can still input the address on the move. Go figure!!!

With a lot of cars being software driven nowadays I think a software editing/analysis tool like the IIDtool, Nanacom etc are essential, the only consideration is that you need to get one specifically for the car you own, not a generic type that you get on eBay.

My MY16.5 doesn't have any limitations when moving.

    Hi,

I can not recall before I modified my MY15 HSE however I got a multimedia system integrated unit and HEMA maps integrated Navigation system unit fitted to the Disco - I can use all LR and Aftermarket navigation systems on the go - also have DVD on at all times and other benefits such as additional cameras from caravan all through the LR touch screen.

Got it from Advanced ICE - just google those words - P.S - its not cheap but fancy.
