I have MY15 Disco with no sat-nav, but am using Google Maps on iPhone 6s.
For all the audio instructions, I have only once got the bluetooth audio to come on and interrupt the radio with instructions. Anyone got this done properly?

I think I've posted this previously so I'll see if I can find it but you need to have Google Maps set to treat the Nav instructions as a phone call.

My iPhone 6s in MY14 works perfectly set this way.

That's odd. Strangely I just checked my Google Maps settings and they're now not what I said (see below).
We are a couple of Google Maps updates and iOS updates since that last post so maybe it has changed.
I will run down to my car later and double check with the phone connected to the car.

Ok, so just checked with iPhone connected to car. Google Maps Navigation Settings changed to below - and voice prompts played through stereo no problem.
Edit: In case it helps iPhone 6s iOS 9.3.5

Um, sorry. Just trying to help because I remember my frustration in getting it to work initially. Nothing special happening settings-wise in the car I don't think. See display below. When the audible navigation instructions are coming through, display (between speedo and tacho) says Call Active Own Number

Just as an FYI... you can get an aftermarket module that plugs into sound system so you get the factory integrated look on the car stereo. Much Cheaper than the factory option IF you wanted it integrated
The sooner they get Android Auto and Apple Car play into LR products the whole issue of having i ncar navigation (and the cost) disappears
