The sooner they get Android Auto and Apple Car play into LR products the whole issue of having i ncar navigation (and the cost) disappears
Thanks, which device, name or brand please,

There are a couple I believe, including this one

    NAVIPLUS. COM.AU.

I know you are are not in Brisbane but if you speak to these guys, they are straight talking and really know what works and whats rubbish and will be able to tell you the best system for a Disco.

I have been down this path as I first signed up for a Disco 4 without NAV so had it ready to go until a last minute swap to another vehicle.

Very frustrating. Sorry to ask this but just to double check - what level is the volume on your phone and is the phone definitely unmuted (in Google Maps)?

Thanks, yes, tried all that including re-installing Google Maps, re-connecting bluetooth with D4, no joy!
May I ask, do you have your car set on phone or radio ? I have no Sat-nav unit, does your D4 have it? That is what may be the difference.

Sorry, no SatNav on mine either. Works for me whether set on phone or radio but mostly mine is on radio.

Have you tried clicking Audi/Video button on the screen then the "+" after Music. It should show you a list of devices, and your phone should be one of them. Select your phone and then whatever is playing through your phone will play through your speakers.
If you like I can provide some photos.
    Regards
    Mark

Thanks Mark, I have done this and play music from my iPhone OK, just no audio from Google Maps. Photos may help.

    Hi Nicky,
Sorry I didn't read your post fully. I have done a quick google on IPhone 6+ and google maps and seen it is common problem. As you can get your phone to play music through the car, I believe the car and Bluetooth are working as they should. I think the problem maybe with a language or Siri issue on your phone. Could you please try some other Sat nav app like Waze and see if that works. That way we can prove conclusively it is the phone settings and not the car or connection.
    Regards
    Mark
