Black Style Roof Rail FOR Land Rover Discovery 3 4 2004 16 Extended Length | eBay

    THANKS

    Andrew

    Be VERY careful Andy..

The eBay ones are hit and miss for having the correct curvature and can damage the roof..

    Fittings for Expedition rack

You can copy mine also if stuck. It will be coming off in next few days. I love the look also.

Here's me and my best friend at top of Mt Nameless this week for a selfie.

I'd be interested to know if you can extra tie down points as a part.

Thanks. It's the little plates I thought might be special.

I have some of the fittings, but not a full set. By the way, both of my Expedition Racks were bolted directly to the roof. I didn't use rails, to try and lower the profile a little.

    Cheers

I can't wait to see what this new roof rack on LandyAndy's D4 is going to look like. I see that he is chasing some mounting brackets, but I've also heard a rumor that he has been using his woodworking skills to make up his own brackets and rails just in case the genuine articles are too difficult to come by (or do not look as good as his hand craft).

First attempt at trying to mount cross rail to the "track" on the roof of the D4.

Second attempt - definitely looking better Andrew.

And how to attach to the Disco front rails ..................

One attempt at keeping it all "low profile .................

And the "deck" of the rack, ready to carry anything at all. Just needs to have that "wind deflector" bolted back on, and it's as good as an import.

Looking forward to the pics of the finished product .....................
    Cheers .........
