    New Goodies for my D3

Got some new goodies on the D3, roof rails and cross bars plus an awning.

Rails from Rimmer Bros in UK, cross bars from LR via a contact, very, very small scuff on the plastic so they were selling off at huge discount.
    2.5m x 2.5m Kings awning from 4WD supercentre.

I installed this bad boy the other night.
420W and combines both spot and spread beam in what they are calling 5D technology. It's awesome!
A bargain too at $100 on fleabay. Plus a 70A relay and 60A Auto reset CB.

    cheers
    Peter

for the price I think they are pretty good. $118 delivered.

Others might be abetter quality but you pay a hell of a lot more for them.

If I get say 3 years out of it I will be happy.

    cheers

I saw a Colarado all decked out today. It had Kings awnings on both sides and the rear.
Never heard of them before today.
We are working in the new "Dryandra National Park" in WA at the moment,so get to see lots of touring rigs coming and going.

That Dryandra wood is great for hammer handles etc. I knew an old fella who used to work at the handle factory down there. Dont know if its still in existance anymore.

Its closed down as far as I know.I recall the clearing sale was very popular when he cleared all his stock and tools.
A lot of the Dryandra woodland is mallet plantation.
