    anyone running 285/50r20 on a 3.0 D4?

    Anyone running 285/50/20 tyres on a 3.0 D4? Does it fit deflated on a 9inch rim in the spare wheel cradle underneath.

    The size is 31.2 which is smaller in Diam than the 285/60 18 that some are running and have in their spare wheel cradle deflated at 31.5.

    Gordon has the 285/50r20 in the cooper zeon as fitting without rubbing on his xl spread sheet and a mate in Perth has this size fitted on his 2.7 D4.

    It fits, but clearance to the upper control arm is very tight. Some tyre brands may be slightly oversize (> 285mm), so would contact. The Coopers don't, but some report that the Nitto TerraGrapplers do.

    I've seen them on a mates (nitto terra grappler) only rub on the lower chasis on full lock
