    Excessive white smoke after fueling

    D4 2011 SE

on the last few refuels I have noticed an embarrassing and worrying amount of white smoke on acceleration immediately after refueling.

It smells like diesel vapour but seems like it might not be from the engine and maybe that fuel is getting onto/into the exhaust somehow? back pressure in the tank and fuel escaping through the breather?

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers

    John

Have a good look under the bonnet, make sure there is no fuel leaks onto exhaust/turbo components.
