    Disco 4 aircon

Hey guys, my second attempt at this thread.
Not a Land Rover owner as yet, but am looking at a MY2016 SD SE with low kays.
I did a bit of a weak attempt at a search on here but couldn't find the answer(s) I'm after.
I'd be interested to get any feedback on 2 zone vs 4 zone aircon in the Disco. I've got 2 young kids (1 and 3) who'll inevitably be spending time in the 3rd row when the in-laws etc come to stay (reasonably regular occurrence).
The one I'm looking at just has the standard aircon - is it a deal breaker or not?

    Thanks in advance.

If you are going to use the 3rd row you need the air there

I don't think there are any anchors int the 3rd row for child seats. So it will only be the inlaws sweating in the back!

We regularly use our third row for adults and only have the standard 2 zone air con. Never much of a problem for them even in the heat of an Eastern suburbs Perth summer in my experience. Certainly not a deal breaker for me!

They all come with 7 seats so you'd assume they'd be used...

Ok I better confirm that. Be very surprised if there weren't, even my XR6 ute has an anchor point behind the passenger seat

Thanks Bob, that's the sort of feedback I was hoping to get.
Don't happen to know if there are anchor points back there do you...?

The third row does not support child seats that require anchors. You could use the unanchored booster seats back there for those kids 4 years or over.

The second row supports anchored child seats.

Without the Rear A/C you'll be wanting some good heat rejecting tint up the back!

Oh, and my kids normally complain they're too cold when we have the second air con on so rarely use it. I'd not suggest it's a deal breaker either but each to their own.

The air con in my 2016 D4 is like a fridge - even in 35 C Temp. I have a 3 and 6 year old in the 2nd row regularly in hot weather and they tell me to turn off the centre console vents in the rear second row. Saying that I do have the centre / rear air con option but have never needed it. I do have the highest UV window tint available thou. Blocks out 80% heat and it really works.
