Do you have windscreen insurance? Insist on the genuine glass and the dealers will tell you who can install correctly.

You must ensure the clips for the trim along the edge are replaced with new genuine clips.

The dudes who did mine didn't change the clips but clearly knew it was an issue. They put a huge lump of sikaflex at each clip point to assist it to stick back down securely, and I can say, it did/does work.

Fine I suppose, but I hope it comes off easily when it needs to be removed for the next windscreen.

I got mine done through insurance and I asked RACQ to tell the installer to take extra care to ensure it didn't leak, so they put that instruction on the job order. It was done in the carport while I was at work and doesn't leak.

I found it when I installed my snorkel. Easily cleaned up and I did the same trick when I put it back on in the end. I have however been meaning to go and buy some new clips
