Part WJP 501600 - how good is your Russian

    Gday All,

I am trying to find out what size the fuel line ( or tubing ) on my D3 is, and I could only find the above part number , doing a search on google the only 2 things that come up are both in Russian. Not being conversant in the Russian language I have no idea what it says.

Does anyone have any idea what size it is , a measurement of the O.D makes me think its either 10mm or 3/8 but I have no idea what the wall thickness would be on the tubing so its possible - but not likely - its 8mm.

If anyone has access to another medium that has more info that would be muchly apprieciated.

    Thanks and Cheers Ean

I can only see one website when I google, and it doesn't mention size at all, only that the part is compatible with a D3, D4 etc

To help with the search, where is the line (or a representative piece of it) that you want to replace?

fuel filter to fuel cooler . From what I can see they are all the same size hose and fittings but that is the only number I could find on the fuel line itself .

ok thanks. I have looked in Microcat and the part number WJP500275 might bring you closer as per the attached pic.

Can't actually find anything that states the size but some poking around seems to suggest ID 5/16" or 8mm...

    Hi Ean.

You can translate pages in Google - a pop-up message appeared for me asking if you want it translated. I searched on the part number you quoted and got this site. Describes the part but there's no size info.

    Thanks David,

That is the earlier style filter set up - pre 07 I think , but guess the hoses and fittings or (nylon tubing as it is) would be the same ,anyway I might just order some 8mm & 10mm fittings and cover both base's - knowing my luck it will be imperial and I will still be stuffed. Funnily I got that part number direct off the fuel line itself , but it could be because mine has the later type of filter set up.

    Thanks kindly for your efforts.

    Cheers Ean

No worries. If you want to send me your VIN I can try to narrow it down a bit...
