    D3 and D4 brake light switches

    In my spares from the D3 (MY08) is a brake light switch, part no. XKB 5001100. The dealer tells me the D4 ()MY16) has a different part number, but is unsure if it is actually a different switch. Will the switch from the D3 work in the D4 or do I need to buy a new spare?
