    Question Side mirrors

Does anyone known if the motorised side mirrors can be folded in by hand without breaking anything? Better still can it be done electrically when driving, like they do when you lock the vehicle?
    Cheers, Mungus.

If memory serves me correctly, press L and R mirror buttons at the same time and they'll fold in. David
Everything is easy when someone else is doing it

FYI, they can be folded back, and forwards, by hand.

I've got a 2013 D4 with electric mirrors. After about 3 months of ownership from new one side starting making a noise when folding in and out automatically. I rang the dealer who put me onto the service department. The guy there said to push the mirror all the way forward (or was it backwards ?) to expose the hinge and to put vaseline on it. I then had to fold it back and forward past the usual stops 30 times !!!. Did solve the problem. Proved that you can indeed manually push them not only in and out but way past where they normally sit. When moved forward they were basically parallel to the body.
