    Suspension Fault

    Hey All,

I had the Suspension Fault message come up while off-road the other day, was just after I'd been through a rather large puddle. Anyway I restarted the car and deleted the fault (foolishly without making a copy), and was good to go again. It got me thinking though, I've noticed since returning from our Gibb trip, the rear suspension seems to "jump" when raising, rather than the smooth raise I'm used to. Does this correlate to valve blocks needing new o-rings?

The fault was something like "Valve block stuck open." Wasn't very specific....

Finally got around to ordering the new srs airbag sensor from Duckworths today, so hopefully that gets rid of that light on the dash.

3rd and final thing is, Mrs. drove the car into the driveway when we got home and put the handbrake on before I got a chance to stick the hose in the drums=( we were met with a nasty squealing sound, a bunch beeps from the dash and the epb fault. Luckily it came unstuck by restarting the car and turning it off via button.
Where to from here though? I've stuck the hose down through the hole as usual, but thinking I better pull the drums off and give them a thorough cleanup inside???
The fault for it is "Actuator Plausibility check, mismatch between motor drive current and resultant force - signal plausibility failure".

All in all it's done pretty well and I'm quite impressed with the Disco. We've taken it over 2000kms of corrugations, 3 days of mud holes and sand dunes and 10,000kms of tarmac this year and what you see above is all that's gone wrong. Complete opposite of the unreliable assumptions people make.

    Cheers,

    Russ

Always turn your EPB off manually.
Never drive through it if you don’t have to!

Suppose I better pop open the motor cover and have a look...

After seeing your photos that would be a big yes for me. The full works for cleaning and an adjustment.
