Well the wife rang and said ‘the disco not starting’. Nothing when pushing start button... ok flat battery? Switch the trusty traxide duel battery switch I inform her... it still did nothing. Tried several times
Red battery light is all she can see on The dash apparently . Not trying to turn over just nada. Tried the brake pedal up and down etc etc.

Flick The switch back and closed door... lock . Open up and retired again. And again... then bing off it went ... not problems.

But once turned off it happens again . After a bit of mucking around it went again

 Any ideas appreciated

(I am 200kms away and can’t get to it until tomorrow so I am going to think about this all night! ... along with selling it or trading it !!! ) )

Could be a number of things, however brake switch and auto selector lock-out switch (is it in P or N?) would be two likely candidates.

I think jonesy63 is on the money. Give the gearstick a wriggle when it's playing up & if it comes good then you'll either need an adjustment to or a new xyz switch.
Oops, just noticed it's in the D3/D4 section & above applies to D2
