12 pin wiring, last minute question

    Hi Guys

I have (hopefully) finished wiring up the usual 7 pins to pick up my caravan tomorrow.

According to the Jayco wiring diagram (attached) I also need Pin 9 and 10 wired up to the white plug on the back of the D4 which is for the fridge on the van.

Does anyone know which pin number they need to be wired into on the white plug?

Based on my searches it looks like:

Pin 9 goes to Pin 6 on the car's white plug
Pin 10 goes to either 3 or 7 on the car's white plug

can someone please tell me which one is correct?

if you feel like being extra helpful..
    1) Jayco diagram says use AWG 7 wiring - this is way way too thick to fit in the terminal, can I safely use gauge 8 instead and trim some of the tips to get it in the terminal? (gauge 8 is skinnier than gauge 6)
    2) The trailer has stability/anti sway - which pins do they use, is extra wiring needed?

    Anderson plug

You would be better off running a 2 thicker wires from the battery to an anderson plug this will give you more power for the fridge. You will need a relay or a red arc battery isolator connected. Also needs a quick reset fuse 30 or 40 amp ( can't remember which one) This way you do not need the white connector on the car. If you have ESC on the van you will need to check for power going to that too

Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think I need the extra power of the Anderson plug yet, the fridge runs on gas and there are solar panels on the roof, from searches most say given it’s only lights and music power shouldn’t be an issue on solar. i may throw a second battery in just for good measure or in case I want to use the tv for longer in a downpour

    does that seem reasonable?
