Last one of these i had to borrow for a few days and drove it everywhere. The owner also mentioned a particular drive where it happened almost exactly every time. Sure enough after about 50km bingo. Had my diag tool with me and same fsult code/s each time.. low rail pressure and low control pressure... and after that distance it was a long drive homeas it did it a further 7 or 8 times... trailing throttle or cruising didn't seem to be a factor and coupled with the fact i had changed filter and measured the flowof the intank pump i had only one option left. New HPFP and 2 years later going well still😊.
I know it is pull your hair out stuff but the modern CRD engines are full of nice little costs😣😣😣
