    Towing mirrors - D3

I'm looking at getting a set of mirrors for towing our van and I'm looking at a pair of Clearview ones.
They aren't cheap at $750 but I'd look at them if there are enough happy users.
Does anyone have any feedback, good or bad.
Or are there others that do the job?

I have got a set of clearviews on my 79 series ute and they are really good, I would fit a set of these to my D2a in a heartbeat but they don't make them for D2's unfortunately.

There’s several using a less intrusive mirror, a quick search would find it.

I call those Clearview mirrors "Look at me mirrors" as many of those that have keep them extended and do indeed make them look like elephant ears. I use just on which straps onto the right hand mirror but is quite deep and wide but can be a bit of a pig to set correctly when taking wind force into account. But it does the job well enough without the expence of the Clearview or altering the vehicle and is better than many now on the market.
No name on it (I've got 2 but use the one) but I've had them for years.

I’ve never bothered with extend mirrors when I towed a caravan......whats behind me was of little interest......

I do wonder why those with clear views don’t pull them in when not towing......must be an effort or need tools to do it.

Nope. They simply push/pull. It’s laziness I guess?

I have looked, but I'm just trying to find something that works, and doesn't fall off after a couple of trips.
I've never used towing mirrors, so it is something I know nothing about.
