Micrometer Adjustable Torque Wrenches should be exercised a minimum of three times at 100% of full scale before use.”

I take it that would for a new one and not every time.

    I bought a torque wrench

An old neighbour told me that every time he had a wheel removed and replaced by a tyre fitter, before he paid, he gave the fitter the wheel brace that came with the car, and told them to undo the nuts with it, without jumping on it. Surprising how many couldn't manage it!
