Reads very much like an Englishman telling a Frenchman all the faults of France.

Let's be brutally honest - My D4 has looks only a mother could love. Especially after the stuff I've put her through. Love her to bits. No other car I'd rather own.

If the OP is genuine about the basically trivial "problems" that he has with his D4, then I think I can guess what spurred him on to make such a public declaration - HIS CRUISER LOVING "FRIENDS"!

I bet that his Toyo friends would have ribbed him about this and that and why buy an "unreliable" car etc - and so he has had to find menial fault and make a public declaration to save face.

If he just let his mates have a drive of the D4 for 10 minutes they may understand why he bought one (even though it appears that he doesn't himself )

Genuine trivia of the new car buyer

I thought it was a genuine post which is a cut and paste of his email to Landrover. I accept that we don’t all have the same criteria when selecting our vehicles and our expectations.

I’d be happy to buy the vehicle from the OP, I’ll accept it with the listed faults and deficiencies. If only all my problems were as serious as the ones listed.

Toyota Fanboi. Ever ridden in a 200 series? They are large and truckish.

Perhaps you misunderstand the intent of the vehicle. Maybe you be better off with a BMW X5 or an Audi Q7.

Anyhow, we love them so that is what counts.

Well I'm with Ljwilson1.But my beef is with my '95 Defender 130 truck, which I drive all over Australia and have been doing so for the last ten years. Landrover put such a puny odometer in it that it will only go to 999,999km. What were Landrover thinking?
