How much gas/freon did you pump back in after evaporator change ?. Check site glass above drier for bubbles
dear friends ,
I badly need advice from professionals on my issue with ac on lr3
AC is not cooling, i have tried and checked everything already but still cannot identity the reason of failure
i checked the low and high pressure in the system.
by doing this i checked if there is freon in the system with a needful pressure

Then I started the engine and checked it again with working ac set on max.cold and got this result. pls see the picture below

almost no changes. so i decided the compressor is not pumping the gas.
Then I scanned the system with launch 431 and got some troubles codes
IMG_20180924_155957.jpg
fault code: B1A70 Compressor solenoid positive supply
I decided to connect the compressor directly to the battery. After that I got this results on the pressure gauge. Pls see picture below

so the compressor has started pumping.
I checked the evaporator's pipes, inlet (high pressure line) was extremely hot, outlet(low pressure line) was just a warm.So AC is still not cooling
few days earlier I changed the expansion valve and evaporator, so it supposed to be working
please help to identify the problem. why ac is not cooling?

I see you are UK brethren seeking Aussie help. Our cars suffer a lot less corrosion related problems. On Disco3.uk older cars especially with rear AC suffer corroded pipes, pin hole leaks and loss of gas as a common fault.
In the recent UK heatwave many owners turned on their AC for first time and experienced a spate of seized compressors, failed pipe work and no AC function.
An Aussie system rarely gets turned off and lasts a lot longer without pipe corrosion.
So after you replaced the parts , did you vac the system out ? Did you replace the dryer or put any extra oil in the system.
You have put the correct gas in the system ?
Cheers Ean
hi Ean, thank you for the reply.
yes, I did vac the system but didn't put any extra oil in it. Can it be a reason of failure ?
also I believe that the previous owner recently had changed the condenser along with the drier (it looks new )
Can we assume that if pressure in the system is good both, the drier and condenser are ok?
