Certainly there is a problem with the suspension system. The stored fault codes need to be read before the suspension decides to drop to the bump-stops when the condition gets worse.
In the last few days an error message has been popping up on the dash saying something like "Only normal suspension height is available" and when I look at the suspension control buttons there is no light illuminated to show that the car is in the normal position.
I stop the car, switch off the engine, wait a few moments, start the car and it all works fine again. Once I had to repeat the process after driving just a few hundred metres and that time I raised and lowered the suspension after re-starting the car and all was well for the rest of the day.
Is this something that I need to be worried about - ie is it the start of a break down in the air suspension system, or just a glitch due to some dirt or whatever getting into the sensors?
Thanks for any advice.
Peter
